The article while focused on the founder, Christine Hajek, also provided an insight into the business of selling horses for slaughter for their meat.

Reviewing about a thousand images I had shot over the past year on the farm, I decided on specific images for the article which spoke to the calm pace of the farm that is over 300 acres.  The farm has more than 140 horses and 200 volunteers with a staff of 18 full time employees.
